Wirriga – Goanna

The Wirriga’s (Goanna’s) move around us keeping our Nura clean, we follow the movements of the wirriga when the air is cooling the babies are hidden in warm places until the air warms and they start moving around again and the babies come out. The Wirriga is a totem that is respected all over our country and beyond.
